Job Summary
As a Retail Sales Associate at Ashley Furniture, you transform store guests into loyal customers by guiding them as the expert on home furnishings. You create inspiration and excitement about Ashley’s products, help guests discover styles that reflect their lives, and assist in designing rooms they will love. You deliver world-class service at the front desk, process sales orders, assist with credit applications and financing, and maintain thorough documentation of sales transactions. You independently address customer concerns, participate in store opening/closing activities including cash reconciliation, support inventory management and loss prevention, and strive to meet and exceed sales goals in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
