Job Summary
As a Retail Sales Associate for Ashley Furniture, you transform store guests into loyal customers by providing world-class service and expert guidance on home furnishings. You create inspiration and excitement about product styles, help customers discover rooms they'll love, process sales and financing with accuracy, assist with cash handling and daily reconciliations, support inventory and loss prevention, and strive to meet and exceed sales goals in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You’ll engage guests at the front desk with a cordial, professional presence, maintain attendance reliability, and participate in store opening/closing tasks. Requires the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and legibly communicate information to motivate action.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 pounds with or without accommodation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
