Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate at Ashley Furniture guides store guests from inquiry to purchase, acting as the expert on home furnishings to create inspiration and design ideas for rooms customers will love. You provide world-class service at the front desk, process sales orders with cash handling, assist customers with financing and credit applications, resolve concerns independently when possible, participate in opening/closing activities and inventory checks, and help meet and exceed sales goals in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You’ll engage guests with enthusiasm, relay product knowledge, and contribute to a welcoming store presence while supporting inventory and loss prevention efforts and collaborating with management to drive sales. The role emphasizes an entrepreneurial, customer-focused mindset, the ability to work flexible hours (including weekends and holidays), and a commitment to excellent service and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
