Job Summary
Transform store guests into loyal customers as the in-store expert on home furnishings; deliver world-class service and delight guests. Responsibilities include processing sales orders and cash handling, assisting with credit applications and financing, supporting opening/closing activities and cash reconciliation, aiding inventory and loss prevention, and meeting/exceeding sales goals and KPIs. Requires ability to lift up to 25 lbs and flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Must be legally authorized to work in the US and 18 years or older. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. This role is on-site at Ashley Furniture locations, with a focus on creating inspiration and excitement around Ashley’s products for customers in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- At least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience preferred
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Experience processing sales transactions and cash handling
- Credit applications and financing knowledge
