Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate at Ashley Furniture is responsible for transforming store guests into loyal customers by delivering world-class service, guiding customers to discover home furnishings that reflect their lives, processing sales transactions with cash handling, assisting with credit applications and financing, supporting inventory and loss prevention, and helping meet and exceed sales goals within a high-energy lifestyle retail environment. The role requires strong communication, enthusiasm, product knowledge, the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, and a focus on providing a welcoming, professional experience aligned with the Ashley brand. Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 IBS with or without accommodation
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
- Gets charged up by interacting with others, by being outgoing, friendly, and easy to talk to
- Conveys information in a way that inspires action
