Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate at Ashley Furniture is responsible for transforming store guests into loyal customers by providing world-class service, guiding guests through home furnishings selections, and helping them discover styles for their spaces. The role involves processing sales and cash handling, assisting guests with credit applications and financing, addressing customer concerns, assisting with store opening/closing and cash reconciliation, supporting inventory and loss prevention, and striving to meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs. The position emphasizes delivering a welcoming, energetic customer experience and maintaining brand standards in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Conveys information in a way that inspires action
- Flourishes in an environment that values exceptional service and customer satisfaction
- Maintain reliable attendance
