Job Summary
As a Retail Sales Associate, you transform store guests into loyal customers by serving as the expert on Ashley’s home furnishings. You guide guests to discover styles that reflect their lives, create inspiration and excitement about products, and help guests design rooms they will love. You will deliver world-class service at the front desk, process sales orders, assist with credit applications and financing, maintain accurate sales documentation, handle cash with care, address customer concerns, support opening/closing activities and daily checklists, and participate in inventory checks and loss-prevention procedures. You’ll strive to meet and exceed sales goals aligned to KPI standards while contributing to a fast-paced, high-energy store environment. This role emphasizes exceptional service, customer satisfaction, and collaboration with management to execute tasks and initiatives. Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Maintains reliable attendance
- Conveys information effectively to inspire action
