Job Summary
As a Retail Sales Associate at Ashley Furniture, you transform store guests into loyal customers by guiding them as the expert on home furnishings, creating inspiration, enthusiasm, and excitement about Ashley’s products, and helping guests design rooms they will love. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, deliver world-class service, and engage guests with a cordial, professional presence representing the brand. Responsibilities include processing sales orders, assisting with credit applications and financing, handling cash, resolving customer concerns, assisting with store opening/closing activities and cash reconciliation, supporting inventory management and loss prevention, participating in bi-annual inventory checks, and meeting/exceeding sales goals aligned with KPIs and performance standards. The role requires a high level of customer interaction, flexible hours (including weekends and holidays), and a commitment to reliable attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience (preferred)
