Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate at Ashley Furniture: transform store guests into loyal customers by guiding them through home furnishings selections, creating inspiration, and delivering world-class service. Responsibilities include processing sales orders, assisting with credit applications and financing, cash handling, addressing customer concerns, supporting opening/closing activities and daily reconciliations, aiding inventory and loss prevention, and striving to meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining an exceptional customer experience. Strong communication, outgoing personality, and ability to motivate action are key, along with flexibility to work weekends/holidays and participate in benefits and incentive programs.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
