Job Summary
As Retail Sales Associate, you guide store guests through Ashley’s home furnishings, create inspiration and excitement, handle sales transactions with cash handling protocols, assist with financing matters, support inventory and loss prevention, and strive to meet/exceed sales goals in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes delivering world-class service, maintaining a welcoming front desk presence, processing orders, assisting with credit applications, assisting in opening/closing activities, and participating in bi-annual inventory checks. Requires being legally able to work in the US, 18+, and ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Training is provided with hourly compensation of $17.13 during the first two weeks, with eligibility for incentives and bonuses post-training.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
