Job Summary
As a Retail Sales Associate for Ashley Furniture, you’ll transform store guests into loyal customers by guiding them through the shopping experience as the expert on home furnishings. You’ll engage guests with inspiration and enthusiasm, help them discover styles to reflect their lives, process sales orders with accurate cash handling, assist with financing and credit applications, address concerns, support store opening/closing activities and daily checklists, participate in inventory and loss-prevention procedures, and strive to meet and exceed sales goals and KPIs in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The role requires flexible hours (including weekends and holidays) and a commitment to exceptional service, with legal work authorization in the US and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. All employment decisions are made based on skills, qualifications, merit, and business need.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation
