Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate at Ashley Furniture: transform store guests into loyal customers by guiding them as the expert on home furnishings, creating inspiration, enthusiasm, and excitement about Ashley’s products, and helping guests design rooms they will love. Drive world-class service, greet customers at the front desk, assist with financing and credit applications, process sales orders, maintain cash handling procedures, support opening/closing tasks and daily checklists, contribute to inventory control and loss prevention, and strive to meet or exceed sales goals while delivering an engaging, high-energy shopping experience. Requires legal work authorization in the US, high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), and 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience (preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
