Job Summary
As a Retail Sales Associate at Ashley Furniture in Mount Plymouth, FL, you guide in-store guests from browsing to purchase, transforming interest into loyalty. You’ll be the expert on home furnishings, creating inspiration and excitement around Ashley’s products, helping guests discover styles that reflect their lives, and assisting with financing and credit applications as needed. You will engage guests at the front desk, ensure a welcoming service experience, support cash handling, processing of sales orders, storefront tasks, inventory and loss-prevention procedures, and help meet and exceed sales goals aligned to KPIs. You’ll participate in store opening/closing activities, support daily checklists, and contribute to a high-energy, service-focused environment with flexible hours including weekends and holidays. The role emphasizes strong customer interaction, clear communication, reliability in attendance, and a proactive, friendly, and motivating approach to inspire action and satisfaction. Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, preferred
- Ability to lift 25 lbs with or without accommodation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
