Job Summary
As a Retail Sales Associate, drive world-class service at Ashley Furniture by guiding store guests through product discovery, creating inspiration and excitement around home furnishings, and helping customers design rooms they will love. Responsibilities include processing sales orders, assisting with credit applications and financing, cash handling, and maintaining documentation of transactions; addressing customer concerns; assisting with opening/closing activities and cash reconciliation; supporting inventory management and loss prevention; meeting and exceeding sales goals and KPIs; and performing additional tasks as assigned. The role requires engaging customers with an outgoing, friendly communication style and a passion for lifestyle retail in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 1 year customer service and/or sales experience (preferred)
- Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
