Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate for apparel at DICK’S Sporting Goods. Responsibilities include greeting customers, proactively identifying needs, providing product knowledge, maintaining merchandising standards and floor sets, promoting company programs (loyalty, warranties, credit card enrollment), adhering to safety and loss prevention policies, and supporting the team with store operations. Requires ability to stand and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 35 lbs, climbing to heights) and to work in a dynamic retail environment. Located at Store1533 in South Bend, IN; part-time role with emphasis on customer service, teamwork, and achieving store objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
