Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate at Dick's Sporting Goods with responsibility for greeting customers, proactively understanding needs, helping with shopping experiences, executing merchandising standards, presenting inventory, promoting programs (loyalty, warranties, credit enrollment), adhering to safety and loss-prevention policies, fostering an inclusive store environment, supporting team across the store, and performing other tasks as assigned by management. Required to have prior retail or cashier experience (preferred) and the ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 35 lbs, and perform repetitive motions. Hiring event for all positions; Mill Run, PA location.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
