Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate at Dick's Sporting Goods responsible for greeting customers and proactively understanding their needs to support the shopping experience, maintaining merchandising and presentation standards, promoting company programs (loyalty, warranty, credit enrollments), following safety and loss-prevention policies, creating an inclusive store environment, supporting the team across the store, and performing other tasks as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
