Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate at Dick's Sporting Goods responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience. Greet and proactively engage customers, understand their needs, and support their shopping. Maintain merchandising and presentation standards, execute floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory replenishment. Promote programs such as customer loyalty, warranty sales, and credit card enrollment. Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs; protect confidential information; foster an inclusive, welcoming store environment; support teammates and the store across all tasks assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
