Job Summary
Greet customers, process transactions at the cash register, and handle payments accurately. Stock shelves and coolers with merchandise while maintaining cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, and fuel pumps. Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers as needed, following safety procedures including age verification for restricted products. Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally while collaborating with the team to manage workload in a high-volume environment. Work a flexible schedule from Sunday through Saturday, including opening and closing the store, in varying temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, including cash registers and other POS systems
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using computers
- Effective communication skills and a strong customer focus
- Ability to collaborate with the team to manage workload and pace effectively
- Willingness to learn about store processes, products, and services
- Ability to remain composed in confrontational situations
- Capability to work in a high-volume, sometimes high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes Sunday through Saturday
- Availability to open and close the store as needed
- Must be able to work in cold environments, such as outdoor cold weather and indoor coolers
- Must also be able to work in heat during the summer months to perform outdoor duties
