Job Summary
Greet customers, process transactions using the cash register, and handle payments while restocking shelves and coolers with merchandise. Maintain store cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, and fuel pumps, and monitor fuel pumps to assist customers as needed. Follow safety and security procedures, including age verification for restricted products, and resolve customer inquiries or complaints professionally. This role requires working Sunday through Saturday with availability to open and close the store, including exposure to cold outdoor environments and indoor coolers. Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, including cash registers and other POS systems
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using computers
- Effective communication skills and a strong customer focus
- Ability to collaborate with the team to manage workload and pace effectively
- Willingness to learn about store processes, products, and services
- Ability to remain composed in confrontational situations
- Capability to work in a high-volume, sometimes high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes Sunday through Saturday
- Availability to open and close the store as needed
- Must be able to work in cold environments, such as outdoor cold weather and indoor coolers
- Must also be able to work in heat during the summer months to perform outdoor duties
