Job Summary
Retail Sales Associate representing Reliant electricity plans in a retail/kiosk/event environment, engaging customers, and driving enrollments. Promote energy solutions, meet or exceed personal sales goals, handle objections, and build relationships with customers and teammates. Responsibilities include assisting customers, directing them to displays, documenting sales, maintaining a presentable workstation, and collaborating with the team to hit targets. Requires strong communication and a customer-focused mindset; no door-to-door or telemarketing. Eligible candidates should have prior experience in retail or sales, be able to lift/setup event materials, and be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include paid training, uncapped commissions with a guaranteed hourly base, health benefits, PTO, and a 401k with company match.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Willingness to travel to event locations
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
