Job Summary
Assist customers with computer and electronics purchases in a high-volume retail store while maintaining product knowledge through ongoing sales and vendor training. Keep the department clean and perform merchandising activities including processing freight and completing mark downs. Support store operations by executing open and close procedures and maintaining loss prevention awareness. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for prolonged periods, and working shifts including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- one-year related experience in a customer service or related role
- Passion for technology including computers/electronics
- commissioned sales experience
- Sincere interest in helping customers select products that meet their needs
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- ability to work before and after the store is open to the public
- ability to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- ability to multi-task and adjust priorities
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with one-year related experience in a customer service or related role strongly preferred
- Passion for technology including computers/electronics & commissioned sales experience is a definite plus
