Job Summary
Retail Sales Ambassador for Intimates at Macy’s in Elmhurst, NY. Drive sales by greeting customers, making product recommendations, upselling, and leveraging vendor product knowledge. Build brand-specific clientele, coordinate and lead vendor-sponsored events with store leadership and vendor partnerships, and communicate customer needs to leadership and vendor teams. Maintain a neat, properly signed sales floor; utilize Macy’s POS systems to complete transactions in a warm, celebratory manner. Demonstrate relationship-building, energy, creativity, and a proactive, self-starter approach to meet sales and gross margin goals while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of selling or retail experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using computers and handheld devices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
