Job Summary
Ambassador position in Macy’s housewares and home decor focused on driving sales through customer engagement, product knowledge, upselling, and building a brand-specific clientele. Responsibilities include greeting customers, recommending and upselling products, acting as liaison between vendors, store leadership, and personal stylists, executing merchandising initiatives for the vendor/brand/area, planning and leading vendor-sponsored events, ensuring the sales floor is neat and properly signed for sales and markdowns, mastering Macy’s point of sale systems, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Requires effective communication, relationship-building, teamwork, time management, and flexible availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays). Minimum 1 year retail experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year previous selling or retail experience required.
- Must be comfortable with the use of computers, mobile devices, and frequent use of radio frequency equipment.
