Job Summary
Greet customers, make product recommendations, and upsell to drive sales while ensuring the sales floor remains neat and properly signed. Serve as a liaison between designated vendors, personal stylists, and store leadership to communicate customer needs and execute strategic merchandising initiatives. Actively plan and lead customer-facing vendor events to meet sales and participation goals, utilizing Macy's point of sale systems to process transactions. Build brand-specific clientele and implement best practices to drive sales, turn, and gross margin above company average. This full-time role requires 30+ hours per week with flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year previous selling or retail experience
- Must be comfortable with the use of computers, mobile devices, and frequent use of radio frequency equipment
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to lift at least 30lbs.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders
- Color vision
