Job Summary
Assess customer needs, provide product knowledge, and conduct transactions with accuracy. Utilize suggestive selling strategies to upsell customers on products and promotions. Accept coaching from management, assist with inventory tasks, and perform opening and closing duties. Record POS transactions accurately, maintain sales floor cleanliness, and escalate issues when appropriate. Follow safety and CRA rules while promoting the Loyalty Program and referrals. Work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced retail cannabis dispensary.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a retail, sales, and/or hospitality environment
- Acquired knowledge of cannabis strains and applications
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate a computer, POS system, and other office equipment
- Weekend availability required
- Ability to move up to 30 pounds on occasion
- No felony within the past 10 years for a controlled substance or distribution to minors
