Job Summary
Assess customer needs, provide product knowledge, and conduct transactions with accuracy. Utilize suggestive selling strategies to upsell customers on products and promotions while recording POS transactions and managing cash drawers. Assist with inventory tasks, perform opening and closing duties, and maintain sales floor cleanliness. Escalate customer issues to management and follow all safety, CRA, and company policies. Work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced retail cannabis dispensary.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a retail, sales, and/or hospitality environment
- Acquired knowledge of cannabis strains and applications
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate a computer, POS system, and other office equipment
- Weekend availability required
- Will require working varied hours/day, including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events on occasion
- Moving up to 30 pounds on occasion
- Per CRA guidelines, all candidates are subject to a State of Michigan background search. Any candidates with a felony within the past 10 years for a controlled substance or distribution to minors will not be considered.
