Job Summary
Retail Representative at JARS Cannabis in Colorado responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, product knowledge on cannabis products, upselling, assisting with inventory, processing POS transactions, and maintaining compliance with MED Badge requirements. Requires MED Badge eligibility (fingerprint background check, $100 license fee), 21+ age, high school diploma or GED, and at least 2 years of customer service experience in retail/hospitality. Shifts vary and may include nights, weekends, holidays; role based in Aurora, CO with manual duties across store operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of customer service experience in retail/sales/hospitality
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Colorado MED Employee License (MED Badge) prior to start date
- Must successfully pass MED fingerprint-based background check
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must not have felony conviction in the preceding 3 years
- Must not be subject to current felony sentence
- Not eligible if in law enforcement/prosecuting/licensing roles within Colorado MD or local authorities
- Knowledge of cannabis products and promotions
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Basic math skills
