Job Summary
Assess customer needs, provide accurate product knowledge, and execute transactions with efficiency while utilizing suggestive selling strategies. Maintain sales floor cleanliness, manage inventory tasks, and perform opening/closing duties as needed. Record POS transactions accurately, ensure cash drawer integrity, and escalate customer issues to management. Uphold safety and MED compliance rules, cross-train when short-staffed, and promote loyalty programs and referrals. Requires a valid Colorado MED Badge, 21+ years of age, and minimum two years of retail customer service experience. Full-time or part-time shifts available Monday through weekends with varied hours including nights and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Colorado MED Employee License (MED Badge) prior to the start date
- Must successfully pass the MED's fingerprint-based background check
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a retail, sales, and/or hospitality environment
- Acquired knowledge of cannabis strains and applications
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to operate a computer, POS system, and other office equipment
- Moving up to 30 pounds on occasion
- Will require working varied hours/day, including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events on occasion
Desired Qualifications
- Cannabis industry and/or health industry experience highly desirable
