Job Summary
Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions. Proactively engages with existing customers and prospects to grow loyalty, offering tailored solutions for everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and small business needs. Supports customer transactions based on traffic while generating appointments and building new relationships within the community. Applies the risk management framework to protect assets, making credit recommendations for personal lending in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Identifies suspicious patterns related to money laundering and resolves issues raised through consumer credit audits. Works collaboratively within the branch and through various channels to achieve business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- Registration to sell investment products completed - as appropriate for the jurisdiction
- Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
- Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
- Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products
- Experience in financial services
- Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications

- This position will act as an originator of consumer loans as defined by Regulation Z, Regulation G, and the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (the S.A.F.E. Act)
