Job Summary

Delivers exceptional service to customers and prospects by identifying needs, providing financial solutions, and recommending tailored banking, investment, and lending products. Proactively engages with existing clients and prospects to grow loyalty, generate appointments, and build new relationships within the community. Supports customer transactions, resolves issues from credit audits, and identifies suspicious activity patterns related to money laundering. Applies the risk management framework to protect assets, maintain lending portfolio quality, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Works collaboratively within the branch and through various channels to achieve business objectives, integrating marketing promotions into customer conversations. Schedule may differ week to week in terms of days worked, hours, and shifts.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
  • post-secondary degree in related field of study
  • Registration to sell investment products completed - as appropriate for the jurisdiction
  • Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
  • Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
  • Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products
  • Experience in financial services
  • Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications
  • Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role

  • This position will act as an originator of consumer loans as defined by Regulation Z, Regulation G, and the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (the S.A.F.E. Act)
