Job Summary
Delivers exceptional service to customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing guidance on financial solutions aligned with their best interests. Proactively engages with existing clients and prospects to conduct needs-based assessments, recommending tailored solutions for everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and small business requirements. Supports customer transactions and resolves issues raised through credit audits and quality checks to ensure accurate data entry and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Applies the risk management framework to protect the bank's assets while making sound credit recommendations for personal lending transactions in accordance with established policies. May work at multiple branches or through various channels based on market needs, with a schedule that may differ weekly in terms of days, hours, and shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- Registration to sell investment products completed - as appropriate for the jurisdiction
- Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
- Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
- Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products
- Experience in financial services
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications
- Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role
