Job Summary
Delivers exceptional service to customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions including everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and home financing. Proactively engages clients to complete needs assessments, recommend tailored solutions, and generate appointments to grow loyalty and business. Supports customer transactions, resolves issues from credit audits and quality checks, and makes credit recommendations for personal lending in compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Applies risk management frameworks to protect assets, identifies suspicious activity related to money laundering, and ensures adherence to legal and ethical standards. Works collaboratively within the branch and market team, integrating marketing promotions into conversations while maintaining current knowledge of the financial services marketplace.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- Registration to sell investment products completed - as appropriate for the jurisdiction
- Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
- Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
- Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products
- Experience in financial services
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications
- Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role

- This position will act as an originator of consumer loans as defined by Regulation Z, Regulation G, and the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (the S.A.F.E. Act)
- This position will require a Federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry
- The Bank will instruct you on the registration requirements needed to comply with this requirement
- A criminal background review and credit history evaluation will be required for this position as well as restrictions on performing in a real estate agent capacity
