Job Summary
Delivers exceptional service to customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing guidance on financial solutions aligned with customer interests. Proactively engages clients to complete needs assessments, recommending tailored solutions for everyday banking, investments, lending, and home financing while integrating marketing promotions. Supports transactions based on traffic, generates appointments, and builds new community relationships through consultative sales and service. Analyzes issues to determine next steps, resolves credit audit questions, and identifies suspicious activity patterns related to money laundering. Applies the risk management framework to protect assets and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and lending policies. Works collaboratively within the branch and market team, maintaining current knowledge of personal banking products and trends.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- Registration to sell investment products completed - as appropriate for the jurisdiction
- Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
- Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
- Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products
- Experience in financial services
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications
- Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role
