Job Summary
Conduct needs-based assessments and provide tailored financial solutions for personal banking, retail investments, lending, and small business clients. Engage customers to complete assessments, generate appointments, and build relationships while recommending digital self-serve options. Manage credit recommendations for personal loans and home financing in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and risk management frameworks. Resolve issues from consumer credit audits and quality checks, identifying and reporting suspicious activity related to money laundering. Collaborate within the branch and with partners to deliver the desired customer experience and achieve business objectives. Maintain current knowledge of financial products and integrate marketing promotions into customer conversations.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- Registration to sell investment products completed - as appropriate for the jurisdiction
- Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
- Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions
- Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products
- Experience in financial services
- Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, Smart phones, online tools, and applications
- Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role
