Job Summary
Greet and assist customers, schedule appointments, and verify insurance coverage while maintaining accurate patient records. Perform preliminary testing data collection, conduct medical coding and insurance research, and manage billing and preauthorization follow-ups. Answer phones, check patients in and out, collect payments, and monitor front desk tasks. Clean the reception area, offer promotions and pricing guidelines, and maintain referral logs. Work changing schedules to meet business demands, standing and walking frequently while lifting up to 20 pounds. Comply with HIPAA and security requirements to protect protected health information.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience
- HS diploma, GED or 1-5 years of equivalent related job experience
