Job Summary
Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks, unpack vendor boxes, and sort items by type, size, or category to maintain an organized receiving area. Process all receiving activities per productivity standards and asset protection procedures, then transfer goods to the stockroom or sales floor. Assist with picking and packing orders, handling shippable returns and abandoned in-store pickup orders, while conducting customer pick-ups and delivering curbside. Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns to ensure a positive shopping experience. Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, with full-time scheduling at 30+ hours or part-time at 12-24 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers
- Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand or walk for at least two consecutive hours
- Must be able to reach above eye level, crouch, kneel, stoop, and have color vision
- Must be able to climb ladders
