Job Summary
Retail Receiving Support Associate at Macy's, Valley Stream store. Focus on receiving and organizing merchandise, tagging items, stocking the stockroom, preparing orders for Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), delivering curbside orders, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor. Engage with customers to greet and resolve issues, support merchandise moves, and help ensure on-time order fulfillment. Emphasis on teamwork, operational excellence, and delivering an excellent shopping experience. Essential tasks include stockroom organization, restocking merchandise, updating signs and pricing, and supporting floor recovery while meeting daily sales goals. Must be dependable with flexible availability (including weekends) and strong communication with teammates and supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Able to lift at least 30 lbs
- Standing for extended periods (at least two consecutive hours) and physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
