Job Summary
Check and verify vendor deliveries, invoices, and credits while accurately logging all receiving records per company procedures. Communicate promptly with the Store Director regarding any issues affecting store or vendor integrity. Process spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines and ensure stock is moved to appropriate storage areas. Maintain a clean, attractive department and follow all safety, food safety, and security policies. Lift up to 30 pounds frequently and stand for extended periods in a retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Ability to work in a retail store environment with varied temperatures
- Ability to be exposed to outside weather conditions
- Ability to work in a low to moderate noise level environment
- Ability to travel by assignment
