Job Summary
Maintain department standards for customer service, employee relations, cleanliness, sanitation, and profitability by greeting customers, assisting with product retrieval, and ensuring accurate signage. Utilize product management software to minimize out-of-stocks, manage inventory parameters, and verify pricing for advertised and special buy items. Perform inventory checks, monitor excess stock, and work with vendors to balance invoices while analyzing gross profit data. Ensure timely price changes and product information updates, then report to work when scheduled. This role supports the District Store Director and Assistant Managers in a fast-paced grocery environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent experience
- Over six months to one year of similar or related experience
- Strong basic math skills
- Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force (energy exerted) occasionally
- Vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction
- Depth perception
