Job Summary
Receive, record, sort, and process donated goods following Kaizen guidelines and established production standards. Evaluate and price items accurately using the pricing guide and strong product knowledge to prepare merchandise for the sales floor. Maintain productivity by meeting or exceeding daily production goals while supporting continuous process improvement. Assist across multiple areas of store operations, including donation intake, merchandising, and general cleaning, as directed by supervisors. This part-time role supports Goodwill Southwest Florida's mission-driven nonprofit organization in LaBelle, offering medical, dental, and vision insurance alongside tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Capable of following all processing and pricing guidelines
- Able to see and recognize colors
- Knowledge of basic math skills
- Ability to stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull and move items
- lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds
- Comfortable with standing for long periods of time
- possibility of occasionally working where temperatures and climate can fluctuate
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in retail and/or stock handling preferred
