Job Summary
Drive print sales and service growth by overseeing the entire print production process, managing equipment and supplies, and ensuring high-quality delivery. Own client satisfaction in the Print Department while executing Office Depot selling techniques and training all associates on print processes and the business model. Provide guidance, coach, and assess store associates to build a culture of trust and brand loyalty. Operate all equipment within the Print Services area to maintain efficient production and identify opportunities to reduce waste. Maintain safety and security during the absence of other managers, performing opening and closing duties including alarm activation, cash handling, and store balancing. Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years related experience
- Minimum 2 years management experience or equivalent internal development
- Experience in Print Center operations
- Experience with logistics, freight, and visual merchandising
- Strong PC skills: Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Subject matter expert in Print Services and related systems
- Proficient with role-related technology and POS systems
- Advanced selling skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to coach, train, and develop others
- Adaptable, positive, and engaging; demonstrates integrity, accountability, and trust
- Action-oriented, drives for results, makes sound decisions, and demonstrates patience
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that aligns with business needs, inclusive of the ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
- Must be able to open and close the store
- Must consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third-party
