Job Summary
Own the delivery of memorable customer experiences and client satisfaction in the Print Department by executing Office Depot selling techniques and training all associates. Lead a customer-centric environment by providing guidance, coaching, and ongoing training on print processes and the holistic service offering to build brand loyalty. Operate all equipment within the Print Services area to ensure orders are completed correctly and on time while identifying areas for process improvement to reduce waste and inefficiencies. As an External Key Carrier, maintain safety and security during manager absence, perform opening and closing duties including alarm activation, cash handling, and store balancing, and ensure loss prevention compliance. Work a flexible schedule inclusive of evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years related experience
- Minimum 2 years management experience or equivalent internal development
- Experience in Print Center operations
- Experience with logistics, freight, and visual merchandising
- Strong PC skills: Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Subject matter expert in Print Services and related systems
- Proficient with role-related technology and POS systems
- Advanced selling skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to coach, train, and develop others
- Adaptable, positive, and engaging; demonstrates integrity, accountability, and trust
- Action-oriented, drives for results, makes sound decisions, and demonstrates patience
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that aligns with business needs, inclusive of the ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
- Must be able to open and close the store
- Must be able to perform opening and closing responsibilities, including activation and deactivation of the store's alarm system, cash handling, and daily store balancing
- Must consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third-party
