Retail Pharmacy Intern

Retail Pharmacy Intern assists in filling prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, provides prompt, friendly customer service, and helps manage inventory, labeling, and pharmacy equipment. Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, maintaining inventory and invoices, training other employees, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory procedures, and maintaining a clean, professional dispensing area. Requires enrollment in an accredited College of Pharmacy and intern registration with the state board; ability to perform arithmetic, communicate effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail setting. Physical duties include lifting and standing with periodic exposure to chemicals; position is part-time and non-exempt.
