Retail Pharmacy Intern

Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service in a retail pharmacy setting. Fills prescriptions under supervision of a registered pharmacist and assists with inventory control, labeling, and processing of medication orders. Maintains pharmacy area and supports training of employees while adhering to regulatory and company policies. Performs duties such as preparing prescriptions, stocking merchandise, handling invoices and inventory data entry, and ensuring accuracy and safety in pharmacy operations. Requires enrollment in an accredited college of pharmacy, state board intern registration, and ability to perform arithmetic, handle multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and work with customers and staff in a fast-paced environment.
