Retail Pharmacy Assistant (6-Month Contract) - Ottawa

Receive and process prescription orders, refill requests, and patient information while performing computer entry, preparation, and labeling with high accuracy. Identify clinical questions to refer to pharmacists and manage patient profile data. Handle cash register transactions, credit/debit card usage, and scanning prescriptions. Complete clerical duties including records, documentation, billings, and invoices. Assist pharmacy staff by answering patient inquiries over the phone and demonstrating excellent customer service at the cash area. Maintain current patient profiles and ensure all dispensing tasks are completed efficiently and timely.
