Job Summary
Manage medication therapy, provide expert clinical advice, and support patient health outcomes through comprehensive pharmaceutical care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication regimens, prevent adverse drug interactions, and conduct patient counseling on proper medication use, side effects, and health maintenance strategies. Contribute to improving patient safety, enhancing therapeutic outcomes, and supporting public health initiatives such as immunization programs. Requires a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, current Minnesota license, and experience with pharmacy benefit management systems. Schedule follows retail site hours with every other weekend rotation; 0.5 FTE.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Registered Pharmacist with current Minnesota license
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy management, and clinical pharmacy practices
- Experience with retail pharmacy operations and pharmacy benefit management systems
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient counseling and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Every other weekend rotation required
