Retail Pharmacist- Mail Order

Interpret prescriptions, evaluate drug interactions, and accurately fill and dispense medications while counseling patients and physicians. Process incoming prescriptions via telephone or in person, review profiles for sensitivities and contraindications, and enter patient medical and insurance data. Supervise pharmacy technicians, coordinate operations at the CareSite Pharmacy, and suggest improvements to enhance service delivery. Prepare special medications involving compounding and IV admixtures using aseptic technique when necessary. Maintain appropriate inventory levels by assisting with medication and supply ordering.
