Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer experience in a cannabis dispensary by assisting patients with product selection, processing compliant transactions, maintaining cash accuracy, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Duties include cashiering, engaging diverse customers, handling cash drops, building online orders, maintaining store cleanliness, safeguarding patient records, and standing for long periods while lifting up to 30 pounds. Requires 21+ years old, strong communication, cash handling, ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays, and background check.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older (as required by state law).
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in retail or a cannabis-related field.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, consumption methods, and effects (or a strong willingness to learn).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of customers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass a background check (as required by state law).
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and register transactions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
