Job Summary
Retail Party Event Host at Michaels in Des Moines area delivers events (including kids birthday parties) inside the store, coordinating planning, setup, and execution while providing friendly customer service, assisting guests with shopping, checkouts, and program enrollments (Rewards, Private Label Credit Cards). Responsibilities include planning and coordinating multiple events, instructing participants in craft projects, performing face painting and other activities, managing add-ons (goody bags, balloons), communicating with clients and store team, handling administrative tasks (emails, calls, paperwork), setting up/breaking down events, ensuring store cleanliness and safety, and supporting omni-channel processes (Buy Online Pick Up in Store, Ship From Store).
